Howdy... Skuppy ( a.k. Shovel1978 ) had a great idea to announce this P.E.S.! Pre-Evo-Sunday at the Fries-Booth at Lake Moehne, pure sunshine included! The old-iron-riders did not let us wait. When Skuppy and me arrived around noon there were already 7 or 8 bikes at the spot and after us there came more and more bikes. Some guys stopped by right on their way back from a near by party that took place the day before, others came from the closer area like Lippstadt, Herford or Soest. I heared one guy had lost his exhaust on his way to the P.E.S.- Hope the road service guys picked him and his bike up. :-) There were also a couple of guys with longer rides. Some from the town of Hameln and I think I remember one license plate from near by Hamburg and Dortmund?! It were 19 bikes that I have counted. 6 Panheads, 11 Shovels, 1 Flathead and ....one Evo ;-) Might have been a couple more bikes, I left a little earlier. Somebody had the idea to have a ride to Essen. An "All American Sunday" was going on there, that we had to check out. Our approch was a little difficult because the Autobahn No.40 was completely closed for traffic. Some "Automotive Free Sunday Shit" was going on there. The All American Sunday itself was a blast and we had a good time there. Should be recommended for 2011. Our meeting point at Lake Moehne was also a real neat location that I will visit more often in the future. Maybe we can have a spontanous meeting announced there over the website forum.
