Shovel-Head.com is online since August 2000. I´ve started this site because I was searching for a project to do some webprogramming to get some skills in it. In a quiet short time Shovel-Head.com developed from a basically very personal website to a technical oriented infopage, with lots of informations about your old US-Iron. "Old Iron" doesn´t mean Harley-Davidson Shovelheads, Panheads or older bikes, only. The mainfocus certainly is "pre Evo", but surely your Evo or TwinCam-Toppics are also welcome to be discussed in the forums.

The techboard developed to one of the main-toppics of this website. It´s open for your questions or for your respons to someones toppics. At the moment Shovel-Head.com has about 28.000 [!] visitors a month. So the chances are good to get an answer to your questions! Certainly-the technical content of these pages is updated on a regular basis! A true Community was established around Shovel-Head.com in the past years. The 8´th Pre-Evo-Party took place in Summer 2010 where more than 500 Shovel-, Pan, Knuckle-, Flat and Ironheads could be seen at the place and I´m sure that this annual edition of the party will be a real highlight in the bike season! Another idea is to have small regional Sunday-Meetings just to bring the local "Pre-Evo-Biker" a little closer together. The Pre-Evo-Sundays. Meanwhile they take place all over Germany.
